Controls and Power Testing
At Fleming Controls and Power Specialties, we feel like our Testing and Commissioning processes bridge the gap between the design phase and final construction. We feel this way, because our testing provides assurance that our customer’s devices work properly against the design specifications.
Our high voltage testing is not conducted to just meet the manufacturer’s specification or the individual asset based analysis. We also perform integrated system-wide functional assessments to ensure all equipment works together harmoniously and in accordance with our customers design specifications.
Seamless Integration
Fleming technicians perform high voltage cable and transformer testing, and power plant commissioning industry wide as well as functional examinations to ensure all equipment operates as an integrated unit.
Injection testing is performed on primary equipment to obtain current and voltage measurements to ensure protection relays and that all devices are correctly installed with the exact polarity.
Integrated functionality is checked for all devices including:
- Relay trip contacts
- Equipment Interlocks
- Logic sequences
- Alarm and mimic functions
- Transformer cooling system operation
- AVR and paralleling systems
